Event Overview
Follow the river, one brewery at a time
Southeast River Run is a curated party bus brewery tour from Sioux Falls down to the Missouri River country of Yankton, Vermillion, and Jefferson, then back home.
This year’s ride is with Midwest Party Express on their party bus, the Pearl (midwestpartyexpress.com).
What to Expect
On-Board Experience
🧊 Small Coolers Only
Let’s save space this year: leave big coolers at home. A small, personal-size cooler is fine. Fewer coolers = more room for the dance pole! 🪩
🚌 Cozy Ride
It’s a party bus with a pole, and it may be a little snug — like last year. Pack light.

Our Crew Rules
Good vibes only
- 😊 Be nice. To each other, the driver, and the brewery staff.
- 🙅 No politics, no religion. Today’s debates are IPA vs. lager.
- ✌️ Only good vibes. We’re here to have fun.
- 🍺 Don’t get overly drunk. Pace yourself and drink water. Your Sunday self will thank you.
- ⏰ Be on time. When it’s time to board, be on the bus.
- 🤝 Take care of your people. Nobody gets left behind.

Bus rules
- 🪩 Dance pole only. Don’t swing or hang on the grab bars or handicap poles.
- 🚭 No smoking or vaping. $250 fee.
- 🤢 Bodily fluids: clean it up, or it’s a $250 fee.
- 🪑 Stay off the seats. No standing on them or sitting on the seat backs.

When we arrive, grab lunch and explore downtown. Stick with the group or split up. Then meet at XIX Brewing when it opens at 3:00. The bus leaves at 4:35 PM.
Good to Know
Helpful notes before departure
- Pickup + drop-off: Steel District Lofts, 155 E 4th Pl, Sioux Falls. Bus leaves at 10:00 AM and is back by about 7:50 PM.
- Mimosas in the Steel District lobby from 9:00 to 9:45 AM before we roll.
- Please arrive early and stay punctual at each stop. Return times will be clearly communicated.
- Guests must purchase their own beer at the breweries.
- Driver tip is included in your $75. Bring extra cash if you’d like to tip more.
- Coolers: personal size only. Less cooler clutter means more dance pole room.
- Bring your ID.
- It’s November in South Dakota. Dress in layers.
- Midwest Party Express isn’t responsible for lost items, so keep track of your stuff.
